Dr. Rasha Elkady
Dr.Elkady completed her training at University of Missouri at Columbia, Missouri.
Dr. Elkady is board certified in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry with more than 15 years experience.
“I have been enjoying my work with my Psychiatry patients for the past 15 years and I would like to provide this new and unique service to patients”.
Dr.Elkady is passionate about families’ mental health and well being.
“I believe that having a family member struggling with their mental health affects the family as a whole. My goal is to help every family member manage their mental health issues, function normally ,and thrive in their lives without carrying the burden of mental health problems”
Beside working with telepsychiatry patients. Dr. Elkady is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the School of Medicine at University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. She served as a psychiatrist on the child inpatient service at the Missouri Psychiatric Center and provides training for medical students, residents, and fellows.
Dr. Elkady enjoys working with patients from different cultures. She served as a chair of the Diversity and Inclusion committee for the Department of Psychiatry. She actively promotes culturally sensitive care.
Dr. Elkady is a strong advocate for mental health on the national and international level through talks, publications, and presentations on mental health issues.
